Our beautiful Botley setting, recently rated ‘Top 20 Mid-Size Nursery Group’ by Day Nurseries, has a vacancy for an enthusiastic Cleaner to join our Housekeeping Team at our Nursery in Curdridge on the outskirts of Botley.
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness of a children’s day nursery, which provides care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Training will be provided for you to work in compliance with COSHH and Health and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
Chemicals, cleaning agents and cleaning utensils which may be a danger to children, staff and visitors are locked away following use. You will be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues directly to the Nursery Management team.
Your awareness of Child Protection, Safeguarding and being able to report any concerns and adhere to company Policies and Procedures is essential.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week, from 17:30 to 20:30 (hours can be flexible for the right candidate). Salary is £10,335.00. Botley staff receive an additional £0.30/hour location weighting (this is included in salary above; subject to terms).
