Early Years Practitioners Wanted! Are you passionate about shaping young minds and creating magical early learning experiences? Our vibrant nursery in Portswood is on the lookout for Qualified Early Years Practitioners to become part of our warm and welcoming Hopscotch team. If you’re ready to inspire, nurture, and support the next generation, we’d love to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential Qualification: Level 2, 3, 5, or 6 in Early Years Education (full and relevant as per the DFE list of relevant qualifications)
- Recruitment Process: All applicants will undergo safer recruitment checks, including a completed Application Form and DBS clearance
Your Role:
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS standards
- Be a reliable, proactive team player, collaborating with fellow childcare professionals
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents and guardians about their child’s development
- Foster a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive
- Ensure all documentation and procedures are completed with accuracy and care
Position Details:
- Hours available: Monday–Friday, 51 weeks a year
- We have the option of you working 3-5 days, 24-40hr week
- Monday - Friday 11-3pm 51 weeks a year
- Salary: £27,060.80- £29,848.00 (pro-rata based 40hr week)
- Portswood staff receive an additional £0.30/hour location weighting (this is included in salary above; subject to terms)
