Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Property Solicitor / Legal Executive position based in Sutton in Ashfield, with the possility to work at our other offices at Mansfield, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham and Heanor, Derby.
The role involves managing a varied caseload, providing clear and practical legal advice, and representing clients in line with firm and regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, including supportive senior management to ensure high-quality service delivery, contribute to business development through client relationships and local networking, and support the firm’s reputation for accessible, client-focused legal services.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in general Law, with the ability to apply legal principles accurately and ethically.
- Experience or interest in Commerical Property matters, including residential and/or commercial property transactions.
- Understanding of Commercial Property issues, including leases, acquisitions, and property-related agreements.
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent legal qualification, with appropriate practicing certificate.
- Excellent client care, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a busy caseload to deadlines.
- Commitment to on-site collaboration and engagement with local communities and businesses.
- Experience using case management systems and maintaining compliant file and risk management practices.
