PRS are delighted to be working with a prestigious Hotel group who are looking for a Sous Chef for their fine dining restaurant in a stunning Scottish luxury estate in Perthshire. This is a full time, permanent role with a salary package of £44,000 per annum based on a 39-hour working week, plus extensive benefits. In addition to your basic salary, you will also receive annual service charge gratuities estimated to be around £5,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head chef and Executive chef, you will have the experience and leadership skills to assist in the management of a highly skilled fine dining brigade to achieve excellence in the standards of dishes presented in a 2 Rosette accredited restaurant.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to further enhance your career within an iconic setting working with the very best ingredients to provide outstanding standards of food taste and presentation.
  • This is a busy operation 7 days a week, but highly rewarding.
  • There is superb accommodation facilities provided for this role comprising of an en suite room, private gym and communal social room, with all bills paid including Wifi. This will be at a cost of £300 per month.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Sous or Junior Sous chef in a fine dining restaurant, ideally with Michelin accreditation.
  • You will need to be a strong team player but also possess outstanding leadership skills.
  • You need to have the confidence and experience to help and assist junior members of the team as they aspire to progress with their career.
  • To be motivated in delivering the highest standard with a pride and passion for quality and presentation with attention to detail.
  • A positive “can do” attitude.
