OSSO Energy is a UK-based gas supplier and shipper which provides a tech-led, bespoke service to businesses and other non-domestic entities. Location: Hybrid. London area employees attend the office minimum two days per week, remote employees visit the London office minimum once per quarter. Expenses paid for travel to London for remote employees.

Job Summary: Are you passionate about increasing efficiency and streamlining operations in the gas energy sector? Are you eager to transform operations using state-of-the-art software and automation tools? An exceptionally talented Operations Analyst with specific experience in the gas energy industry is what OSSO Energy is searching for. Assuming this position, you will be essential in optimising our processes, guaranteeing adherence to legal requirements, and bolstering our dedication to providing outstanding customer service. Your proficiency with automation and software will be essential to accomplishing these objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to gas supply chain operations. Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics. Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in operations. Identify and analyse data issues, then develop and implement solutions to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes and workflows. Create streamlined and automated data-related operations, such as the creation of user interfaces that connect with these systems, by utilising automation tools, APIs, and AI. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with operational goals. Provide regular updates and reports to management on operational performance. Develop and maintain operational models to forecast and plan for demand.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
  • Project Management: Support operational projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. Prepare project documentation, including plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with the customer service team to address and resolve operational issues. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction. Analyse customer feedback and incorporate it into operational improvements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar role within the gas energy industry.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and experience with business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to gas supply is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Depending on location, Hybrid role is offered with occasional visits to Head Office.
  • May require occasional travel to meet with stakeholders or attend industry conferences.
  • International Travel may be required – Valid Passport is Required.
