We are looking for an experienced senior receptionist to join our team. Situated in the thriving Georgian quarter of Liverpool, we are a privately owned, award winning hotel with a Rosette restaurant, The London Carriage Works. A recent expansion has taken the hotel to 149 bedrooms and suites, extensive luxury spa, second hotel restaurant 1931 and eight first-class private dining, conference and events spaces including a cinema.
The Senior Receptionist will be confident, self-motivated and achievement orientated; supporting and supervising the reception team, striving at all times to exceed customer expectations. You will lead the reception shift taking charge of cash handling and payment procedures, allocations, billing queries, managing feedback and overseeing all aspects of customer service during the shift, communicating any serious or unresolved issues to the Front of House Manager or Duty Manager. You will assist with reservations when required, and will assist with the training of new staff. Your shifts will be a combination of early and late shifts and include weekends and bank holidays.
Your Skills and Experience as Senior Receptionist:
- Confident, self-motivated, team worker.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least 1 year experience in a busy hotel reception environment.
- Working knowledge of Rezlynx is an advantage but not essential.
- Capable of prioritising workload, delegation of tasks, and able to work in a tidy and organised manner.
