Our highly qualified and HCPC-registered physiotherapists are dedicated to providing personalized care that helps patients recover quickly and safely from injuries and conditions. This part-time role is for an MSK/Biomechanics Podiatrist at our Lee-on-the-Solent location. The successful candidate will assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal and biomechanical conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide tailored orthotic solutions as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educating patients about foot health.
- Supporting prevention and management strategies for conditions such as diabetes that impact foot health.
This is an on-site role focused on delivering exceptional care and service to our patients.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Podiatry and Biomechanics with a proven ability to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions.
- Knowledge of Orthotics design and prescription, and practical experience in fitting and advising patients on appropriate solutions.
- Understanding of Diabetes care, particularly in managing and advising on foot-related complications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide a supportive patient-focused experience.
- HCPC registration and relevant qualifications in Podiatry or a related field.
- Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to patient care excellence.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively.
