Full‑time Band B Physiotherapist based in Ty Gobaith, Conwy. Working 37.5 hours per week (Monday‑Friday) with flexibility for weekends and out‑of‑hours as required. Salary £31,826–£38,742 per annum, FTE depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the clinical therapy service across the organisation, providing holistic, child‑ and family‑centred care.
- Implement new and existing therapy programmes, monitor their progress and adapt them in liaison with the young person, their family and home‑based therapist.
- Collaborate with other services to provide integrated care and support for the families.
- Support the education, training and development of other care team members.
- Encourage a reflective and evidence‑based approach to the therapy service through involvement in audit, policy & procedure and service development.
- Travel locally to both hospices and within communities, meeting the needs of children and families.
- Obtain an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (paid for by Hope House).
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- Registered with the HCPC.
- Knowledge of the needs of children and young people with life‑limiting conditions and children’s palliative care.
- Ability to prioritise day‑to‑day clinical work using evidence‑based practice.
- Confident swimmer, able to complete shallow‑water evacuation training.
