Hope House Children’s Hospices has an opportunity for a Band C Nurse to join our team based in Oswestry on a permanent basis. You will be required to work 12.5-hour shifts both days and nights. In return, our Nurse will receive a competitive rate of £38,383 to £46,221 per annum (dependent on experience) plus unsociable and weekend enhancements.

Hope House Children’s Hospices is a special place to work. Our hospices are bright, sunny, child-centred buildings set in spacious grounds, with sensory rooms and hydrotherapy pool. We support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died. Children and families are the reason we are here and we all have one thing in common, a shared dedication to providing the best care for our children and their families who use our specialist services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional care and improve the quality of life for every child with a life-threatening condition and their family.
  • Reach every child with a life-threatening condition as soon as possible to give families informed choices about accessing our services.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts and resource allocation to maximise impact.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of children and young people with life-limiting conditions and children’s palliative care.
