Overview
Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality, one-to-one care in the community? We’re looking for a skilled, confident, and compassionate Community Nurse to join our growing team supporting both children and adults with complex health needs in their own homes.
You don’t need to be paediatric-qualified – we welcome RGNs and RMNs with the right experience and attitude. What matters is that you’re clinically competent, committed to quality, and confident working in the field.
Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one care to children and adults with complex medical needs
- Delivering personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting support
- Medication administration (including injections and controlled drugs)
- Feeding (oral and via PEG)
- Performing clinical tasks such as tracheostomy care
- PEG care and maintenance
- Catheter care
- Oral suctioning, nebulisers, and rescue meds
- Supporting service users with dignity and professionalism
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safeguarding protocols
- Liaising with families, case workers, and other health professionals
- Participating in training, supervisions, and clinical assessments
What We’re Looking For
- NMC Registered Nurse (Adult, Mental Health, or Children’s – paeds experience welcome but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – this is non-negotiable
- Confident, competent, and caring
- Resilient and adaptable, with strong clinical decision-making skills
- Comfortable working alone in community settings
What We Offer
- £30,000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
