Overview

Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality, one-to-one care in the community? We’re looking for a skilled, confident, and compassionate Community Nurse to join our growing team supporting both children and adults with complex health needs in their own homes.

You don’t need to be paediatric-qualified – we welcome RGNs and RMNs with the right experience and attitude. What matters is that you’re clinically competent, committed to quality, and confident working in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Providing one-to-one care to children and adults with complex medical needs
  • Delivering personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting support
  • Medication administration (including injections and controlled drugs)
  • Feeding (oral and via PEG)
  • Performing clinical tasks such as tracheostomy care
  • PEG care and maintenance
  • Catheter care
  • Oral suctioning, nebulisers, and rescue meds
  • Supporting service users with dignity and professionalism
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safeguarding protocols
  • Liaising with families, case workers, and other health professionals
  • Participating in training, supervisions, and clinical assessments

What We’re Looking For

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult, Mental Health, or Children’s – paeds experience welcome but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – this is non-negotiable
  • Confident, competent, and caring
  • Resilient and adaptable, with strong clinical decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working alone in community settings
