Hope for Justice requires references from your two most recent organisations which cover the last five years of employment. Your referees should be your direct line managers and be official organisational references. If your most recent line managers are only able to provide personal references, we will require additional organisational reference details from you and will discuss the process with any successful candidates.

Upon applying to work at Hope for Justice, we will only use the information you give to us for recruitment and selection processes. The type of information we typically collect during the recruitment process includes name, address, nationality, contact details, qualifications, work history and reference details. This is collected through the application form, CV, covering letter and interview process. Hope for Justice keeps recruitment data on file for 12 months following application, in line with recommended guidance, after which all recruitment data will be deleted from the system. Access to this information is restricted to the HR team and recruiting managers and is stored securely.
