The Role

As Assistant General Manager , you’re a key leader in the restaurant. You turn plans into action, set the pace on the floor and help build a happy, high-performing team. Working side-by-side with the General Manager, you’ll help run the business, raise the bar and create unforgettable guest experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead from the front — coach, inspire and develop your team every shift
Build the squad — interviews, trial shifts, onboarding and training
Run incredible service — on the floor, driving energy, standards and guest love
Own the operation — rotas, staffing, stock, audits, compliance and daily planning
Think commercially — support sales, control costs and smash labour & stock targets
Live the culture — role-model HOP values and create an engaged, positive team
Step up — confidently run the restaurant when the GM is away
A natural people-leader with hospitality experience
Cool, calm and organised in a fast-moving environment
