The Role: As our Maintenance Manager, you will oversee a team of maintenance specialists, provide expert guidance on technical queries and personally handle more complex maintenance issues that require advanced expertise. This position combines management, technical problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance specialists, ensuring high-quality service delivery and work
  • Act as the primary point of contact for more complex maintenance queries from the team
  • Visit sites to assess quality standards and assist with complex issues
  • Provide expert guidance to team members to resolve technical challenges promptly
  • Ensuring work completed by our in-house maintenance team meets client expectations and adheres to industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, prepare RAMS and necessary approval documents for works, liaise with 3rd party maintenance contractors when required and undertake inspections for commercial properties
  • Assist in preparation of proposals, budget and schedule for maintenance projects
  • Enforce adherence to safety protocols for team members and ensure potential risks are identified and minimised.

About You:

  • Exceptional management, communication and organisational skills
  • Strong proficiency in maintenance tools, equipment and techniques with a solid understanding of commercial building systems, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, being able to self-manage and using own initiative to proactively solve problems
  • Adaptable - you can adapt your communication style based on who you’re speaking to, and you’re not afraid to manage expectations when necessary
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Client-first mentality - you care about the experience of our clients and push to ensure their experience is effortless and you are responsive to issues raised
