My client is a privately owned commercial real estate business with ambitious growth aspirations and is seeking a senior finance professional to lead a small finance team. Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach other finance team members
- Oversight of key finance team functions, including:
- Management accounts (monthly) reporting across multiple sites
- Cash flow forecasting
- Budgeting
- Statutory compliance
- Year-end processes
Key skills and experience
- Operating in a senior finance role with an ability to liaise and communicate effectively with senior management team members with no finance background
- Prior experience of implementing best practice finance processes, systems and controls
- Proven track record of improving quality of management account reporting and ensuring robustness of financial reporting
- Multi-site experience is key
- Demonstrable ability to work across multiple legal entities and ensure consolidation and inter-company transactions are correctly aligned
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a pre-requisite
