Overview

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Surveyor to join our Commercial Property & Asset Management team based in Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to develop their expertise in property management and progress towards becoming a qualified Chartered Surveyor through the APC pathway.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of a diverse commercial property portfolio, including offices, retail, and industrial assets.
  • Support senior colleagues in tenant liaison, ensuring positive relationships and high levels of customer service.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of service charge budgets and reconciliations.
  • Undertake property inspections, reporting on condition and occupancy matters.
  • Monitor and follow up on rent collection, arrears, and lease compliance.
  • Coordinate and instruct contractors, consultants, and suppliers for maintenance and repair works.
  • Support with lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals, and dilapidations.
  • Assist in preparing client reports and asset performance updates.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, best practice, and health & safety requirements.

About You

  • RICS accredited degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in commercial property and asset management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong tenant and client relationships.
  • Organised, proactive, and keen to take responsibility.
  • Analytical mindset with good attention to detail.
  • A commitment to completing the APC and becoming MRICS qualified.
