About this Role
We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Hooton Pagnell All Saints C of E Primary School.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play an important part in the learning, development and wellbeing of our pupils. Working closely with class teachers and other colleagues, you will provide effective classroom support and help ensure that all children can access learning, participate fully in school life and make the best possible progress. A particular focus of the role will be supporting pupils with SEND, additional needs or other barriers to learning, helping them to develop their confidence, independence and engagement.
The role is varied and will include supporting individuals and small groups, delivering agreed learning activities and interventions, preparing resources, monitoring pupils' responses and providing useful feedback to teachers. You will also help create a positive, purposeful and inclusive learning environment, supporting pupils' behaviour, social development and wellbeing in line with school policies and expectations.
We are looking for someone who can build positive and supportive relationships with children, communicates well with colleagues and parents, and understands the importance of adapting support to meet individual needs. You will be kind, patient, reliable and well‑organised, while being confident enough to use your initiative appropriately and work effectively as part of a team.
