Good recruiter? Fed up with some of the rubbish that comes with recruitment?
The endless KPIs.
Call-time reports.
Spreadsheets about spreadsheets.
Morning meetings about yesterday’s numbers.
Being told how many calls you need to make despite consistently doing your job well.
We’re not particularly interested in any of that.
Hoot Recruit is growing and we’re looking for an experienced recruiter to join us.
We’re a relatively new business, but the people behind Hoot certainly aren’t new to recruitment.
We wanted to build the sort of recruitment company we’d actually want to work for ourselves.
Small team. Grown-up environment. Plenty of freedom. Good commission. No corporate nonsense.
What are we looking for?
First and foremost, someone who can recruit.
You might currently work in
- Sales & Marketing
- Engineering / Technical
- Manufacturing
- Finance & Accountancy
- Commercial / Office Support
- HR
- Construction
- Or another professional recruitment market
Your exact sector is less important than you being good at what you do.
Ideally, you’ll have experience running a 360 desk, building relationships with clients and candidates and developing business.
We’re particularly interested in recruiters who enjoy the commercial side and want the freedom to develop their own market.
What’s different about Hoot?
You’ll be joining us at an early stage, so this isn't a case of being given a seat, a phone and somebody else's KPI sheet.
You'll have the opportunity to build something of your own within Hoot.
Bring your experience. Bring your ideas. Develop your market. Win clients. Recruit good people. Make money.
We’ll give you the support and tools you need and trust you to get on with the job.
There are no ridiculous call targets, no obsession with how many CVs you've sent and no micromanagement.
If you're doing the right things and producing results, we're happy.
And the money?
We know good recruiters need a reason to move.
We've put together a strong basic salary and a genuinely attractive, uncapped commission scheme designed to properly reward the person doing the work.
We can talk openly about the numbers from the first conversation.
Who would this suit?
Probably someone who enjoys recruitment but has started wondering whether they still enjoy where they're doing it.
Maybe you're performing well but don't feel particularly rewarded.
Maybe you'd like more autonomy.
Maybe you've looked at your billings and then looked at your commission and wondered where the rest went.
Or maybe you fancy being part of a smaller business where your contribution genuinely matters.
You don't need to be actively looking.
If any of this has struck a chord, apply or drop us a message for a completely confidential chat.
No drawn-out interview process and no hard sell.
Let's have a coffee, tell you what we're building at Hoot and see if it makes sense for both of us
