Job Description Trainee Accounts Assistant Salary: cΒ£27,500 Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:30pm Are you looking to build a long-term career in accounts and finance with a well-established, market-leading business? We are recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team supporting multiple sites across a successful automotive group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, numerate and keen to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment. The Role You'll receive full training while assisting with a variety of day-to-day finance and administrative tasks, including: Processing daily banking across multiple sites Producing daily reports for different departments Scanning and maintaining digital financial records Processing self-billing invoices Maintaining finance settlement accounts and liaising with departmental managers Reviewing bank payments and matching vehicle deals with payments Assisting with monthly stock checks Supporting purchase ledger activities Providing assistance with month-end accounts preparation What We're Looking For A keen interest in finance or accounting Excellent attention to detail Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office Good numerical ability Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload A positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous office or finance experience is beneficial but not essential What's On Offer Salary of approximately Β£27,500 Full training and ongoing development Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends A friendly and supportive team environment Excellent long-term career prospects within a successful organisation If you're looking to start your career in accounts and would like to join a business that will invest in your development, we'd love to hear from you.
