Trainee Accounts Assistant
Salary: c£27,500
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:30pm

We are recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team supporting multiple sites across a successful automotive group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, numerate and keen to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment.
The Role
You'll receive full training while assisting with a variety of day-to-day finance and administrative tasks, including:
- Processing daily banking across multiple sites
- Producing daily reports for different departments
- Scanning and maintaining digital financial records
- Processing self-billing invoices
- Maintaining finance settlement accounts and liaising with departmental managers
- Reviewing bank payments and matching vehicle deals with payments
- Assisting with monthly stock checks
- Supporting purchase ledger activities
- Providing assistance with month-end accounts preparation
What We're Looking For
- A keen interest in finance or accounting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
- Good numerical ability
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous office or finance experience is beneficial but not essential
