Requirements
- Track record delivering complex, multi-domain platform programmes in fintech, payments, iGaming or other regulated industries.
- Background in iGaming, sports betting, or casino platforms (PAM, Payments, Sportsbook, Casino).
- Familiarity with UKGC, MGA, or equivalent regulatory environments.
- Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted delivery workflows in a production context.
- Strong workshop facilitation, business process mapping, and writing specifications that engineers can build from without going back over the same ground.
- Comfortable enough technically to talk to architects and engineers about microservices, APIs and event‑driven systems.
- Experience with the human side of platform replacement: resistance, fear of automation, and the politics of changing systems people have built careers on.
Responsibilities
- Run scoping workshops with domain SMEs, operational stakeholders and compliance specialists, and turn the output into functional specifications engineers can build from.
- Manage a busy stakeholder group – senior people who are simultaneously running our live commercial platform.
- Produce delivery‑ready specifications that line up with the programme’s architectural standards and technical decisions.
- Maintain the macro‑level backlog in Jira and coordinate with engineering leads on prioritisation and sequencing.
- Report to the Steering Committee. Monthly status, risks, decisions. Raise things early.
- Use AI tooling as part of the day job.
