Hooray are delighted to be supporting a long standing client in the education sector to assist in the recruitment for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a 3 month temporary contract, with varying hours available up to full-time.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide support to individuals on an individual or group basis
- Support the Tutor in lesson preparation, ensuring your students have all the necessary equipment
- Support the learners in reading and writing
- Play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN/SEND) to reach their full potential
- Encourage students to participate in lessons
To be successful as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Have experience of working with a young people with SEND or additional needs
- It would be advantageous to have experience in support students within a classroom setting
- Be able to remain calm under pressure
- Have excellent written and verbal English skills
In return, my client is offering an hourly rate of 13.58 per hour. Please note, this is a temporary position, expected to last a minimum of 3 months, with various hours available up to full-time.
