Hooray are delighted to be partnering with a longstanding client to recruit for a It Support Technician and Trainer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis! This is a newly created role, ensuring lots of scope for autonomy!

As an IT Support Technician and Trainer, you will:

Create and deliver effective training and support on technologies to our staff

Tailor sessions to meet the needs of all users with varying experiences

Create and maintain handouts, tutorials, e-learning and booklets, ensuring content is regularly updated

Work closely with managers of departments to ensure training is aligned with operational goals

Support in the set up of new starters

Prepare meeting rooms, ensuring all IT equipment and links are operational

Be the point of contact for IT issues across the group, liaising with third parties where necessary

Support the IT Manager in the maintenance of all onsite IT equipment

To be successful as an IT Support Technician and Trainer, you will:

Have a solid understanding of IT systems, including Office 365, MS Teams, business software & AI

Be able to demonstrate the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, connectivity and software issues

Be able to deliver effective training programmes both in person and online

Be skilled in breaking down complex IT, into user friendly guidance

Have experience in delivering training to a group of users and identify upskilling opportunities

In return, my client are offering a salary of circa £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position.
