We are seeking to recruit a Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator who will co-ordinate and support our volunteer support services, working with families with specific parenting needs, with children aged 0-18 years. The successful candidate will support all aspects of Home-Start Herefordshire’s work with families to ensure no child’s future potential is limited by today’s challenges.
This includes:
- Working both directly (providing support to parents directly) and indirectly (working with volunteers and partner organisations) with families and children
- Planning, managing and delivering outcomes-focussed support
- Working alongside the wider team to contribute to the effective day-to-day operation and development of our organisation
We are looking for someone with relevant experience (paid or voluntary), who prioritises excellent safeguarding practices and some knowledge of the roles of agencies providing services for children and families. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of non-judgemental support and of the values and ethos of the organisation. We welcome applications from under-represented groups.
The role is based at our offices at Thorn Business Park, Rotherwas, Hereford but will require travel across the county. A valid driving licence and use of own car is essential (expenses paid).
Closing date for applications: EOD Friday 19th June 2026
