St. Peter’s Primary wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification who will support all key stages and contribute to classroom practice.
It is expected the successful applicant will have
- An enthusiastic, conscientious, creative and organised Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team
- Experience of working with children
- Experience working in a school setting
- Relevant qualifications
- Flexibility, resilience and the ability to work as a team under the direction of others
- A commitment to creating an exceptionally positive environment for pupils
- A strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children
- Excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils
- Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Support pupils's social and emotional development, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
