Queen Elizabeth High School is part of the Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) which includes four local Primary schools. Located in the town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, we are an 11-16 academy having converted in 2011. Set amidst spectacular scenery with stunning views of the Malvern Hills and even the Black Mountains on a clear day, the town of Bromyard is only 20 minutes from Hereford and 25 minutes from Worcester.
Queen Elizabeth High School wish to expand our team of invigilators to help and support our existing team in readiness for next academic year’s exams. We require authoritative and confident individuals who are able to invigilate public and internal examinations in school on a flexible basis. Hours are variable between 8.15 am and 4.15 pm with morning and afternoon exam sessions. There are currently requirements for invigilators for 2026 exam season onwards. The main core public examination period is from May until the end of June. You will work under the direction of the Examinations Officer and full training will be given.
Visits to the school by prior appointment are warmly welcomed. Three Counties Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
