Hoople Group is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Plumber to join our Building Maintenance Team in Herefordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a varied and rewarding role within a professional and supportive environment.
Working across a diverse range of domestic and commercial properties including houses, offices, museums, libraries, and shopping centres, you will carry out both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine plumbing maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and fix plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and heating system faults.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing call-outs.
This role offers variety and challenge, ensuring no two days are the same.
Essential Requirements:- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience in building maintenance plumbing (public sector experience desirable)
- Knowledge of water regulations and heating systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a professional, approachable attitude
- A second trade qualification, such as electrical, carpentry, or HVAC
- G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Regular working hours: 8am - 4pm
- Local work within Herefordshire (no long-distance travel)
