Herefordshire Community Wellbeing is looking for dynamic, self‑motivated Social Workers to join a supportive, team‑oriented environment. This role offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in a fast‑paced and rewarding adult social care safeguarding setting.
Responsibilities- Conduct Care Act assessments and develop person‑centred support plans.
- Perform Mental Capacity assessments, Section 42 enquiries, and Mental Capacity/Section 42 procedures.
- Apply a strengths‑based approach to empower individuals and champion independence.
- Engage in CHC and s117 work to ensure seamless support across agencies.
- Collaborate with external agencies and partner organisations to provide holistic care.
- Supervise and support teams, providing regular clinical supervision and professional development.
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England and a qualifying degree.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance and best practice.
- Experience working with diverse adult populations, including those with physical, learning disabilities, mental health needs and older adults.
- Drive to develop into a Best Interest Assessor or Approved Mental Health Professional.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within Herefordshire.
