- Help families develop safe, realistic and sustainable plans.
- Facilitate review meetings and support families to reflect on progress and changes needed to move forward.
- Work alongside social workers and partner agencies to embed Family‑Led Decision Making across Herefordshire's Families First journey.
- Maintain high‑quality records and contribute to service learning and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with children, young people and families.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings and managing challenging conversations.
- Ability to work confidently with complex family dynamics while remaining calm, balanced and solution‑focused.
- Understanding of safeguarding, child development and the needs of vulnerable children.
- Experience of multi‑agency working.
- Belief in strengths‑based, restorative and relational approaches.
- Ability to build trust quickly and communicate with warmth, empathy and professionalism.

- Hold cases.
- Complete statutory assessments.
- Deliver therapeutic intervention.
- Make decisions on behalf of families.

- 31 days' annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays. Additional 10 days may be purchased during the request period.
- Flexible working, including potential for job‑sharing, part‑time hours and agile working.
