Herefordshire Community Wellbeing is actively seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated and professionally confident Rough Sleeper and Tenancy Support Officer to join our welcoming and supportive team. The Role
- Provide an efficient and effective temporary accommodation service for households where the Council has a duty to accommodate, within the bounds of temporary accommodation legislation under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 as amended.
- Deliver resettlement advice to homeless households moving into temporary accommodation and support them to move on or relocate when the duty ends, signposting to support agencies as appropriate.
- Follow temporary accommodation policy and procedures and ensure best practice relating to the service.

- Good communicator able to work across the public, private, and faith sectors.

- Demonstrate a flexible and innovative approach to working.
- Able to grasp a complex working environment and develop cohesive solutions to improve services for people.
- Have knowledge of housing legislation.
