Are you interested in shaping and providing support to help Herefordshire achieve its growth aspirations? We are an ambitious unitary council with our planning and building control service taking centre stage in promoting the council’s spatial priorities for growth. We are making significant investment in our systems and processes and have recently won a national award.

An exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity has arisen for a technical officer to work as part of the Technical Support Team for Planning Services. The role involves providing technical support for the service area and we are seeking well motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us. You will play a key role in dealing with the validation and processing of planning and associated applications in line with Town and Country Planning Legislation and audited procedures, as well as supporting the transformational change within the service.
