The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

This would be a Fixed term position from Monday 25th May to Sunday 6th September 2026. Hours will vary across the contract period as follows:

  • 25th May to 19th July: 15 hours per week
  • 20th July to 30th August: 30 hours per week
  • 31st August to 6th September: 15 hours per week

The hours can be flexible but weekend work is essential.

The duties of the post will include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  • Litter collection/emptying of bins
  • Upkeep of flower beds, borders & trees
  • Tree/flower planting
  • Installation of street furniture
  • Playground and skate park inspections
  • Cemetery maintenance
  • Maintaining open spaces and footpaths within the P3 Scheme
  • General maintenance of the Council’s buildings
