Childrens Social Workers – Long Term Safeguarding Team
South Wales
Pay rate £38.43 per hour Umbrella company in line with ADSS pledge
We are currently working with the following South Wales based Councils to appoint social workers to join their long term child protection teams.
- Cardiff City Council – Locality Teams – various teams across the County
- Caerphilly County Borough Council – Locality Team Child Protection and Care Support, Ystrad Mynach
- Vale of Glamorgan County Council – Family Support Team, Barry
- Carmarthenshire County Council – Childcare Team, Llanelli
Applications are welcome from both full and part time candidates. In line with the All Wales Pledge, a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience is required. All roles offer both flexible and hybrid working.
To apply for this role, you will need to hold –
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England (application MUST be submitted to SCW before commencing in post
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
