Adult Social Worker – Court of Protection – Social Worker

Pay rate – £35 Umbrella

We are looking for a Social Worker with experience of working in Adult Social Care, including Court of Protection work.
They must be able to respond to crises and conduct visits in the Gloucestershire area.

Have to be available for visits every day, will work from the office 3 days a week; will need to do safeguarding front door hub work.

Our Social Workers must be able to listen hard to the people of Gloucestershire, to understand what really matters and to connect them to resources that help them continue with their chosen life, either with support or independently. You will also be working with individuals to help them to regain control of their lives in a crisis. We use the Three Conversation approach, a model that re-emphasises focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them.

What can we offer you?

In recognition of the vital contribution you make, we offer:

• £35 per hour;
• £150 Accommodation / mileage weekly allowance (T&C’s) – receipts are required
• Capped caseloads at 25;
• Guaranteed minimum 3-month placement;
• Remote / agile working: Localities – first 2 weeks in the office for a robust induction; thereafter 3 days per week in Forest office to undertake visits / meetings / supervision
• Dedicated support with regular supervision and guidance from line management.
