Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant - Pembrokeshire

Hoop Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Welsh-Speaking Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our team in the Pembrokeshire area. This full-time role involves working in Welsh-medium primary schools, providing vital support to children with additional learning needs (ALN) and helping them to achieve their educational goals., * Provide tailored support in Welsh to children with ALN in Welsh-medium primary school settings.

• Work closely with teachers to deliver one-to-one or small group support in Welsh, ensuring that pupils with ALN are fully included in classroom activities.

• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure they are followed effectively.

• Modify resources and teaching strategies in Welsh to meet the specific needs of each pupil.

• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all children, regardless of their learning needs, feel supported and valued.

• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of children in a Welsh-speaking environment.

• Fluency in Welsh is essential.

• Experience in a school setting, particularly working with children with additional learning needs (ALN).

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both children and staff in Welsh.

• A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach when supporting children.

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
