Are you a fluent Welsh speaker looking to make a real difference in Welsh medium education? Hoop Education is working closely with schools across South Wales to recruit passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Your Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ALN in Welsh medium settings
- Support teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons through Welsh
- Help create a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Monitor and record pupil progress to support learning outcomes
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
We’re Looking For:
- Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written) essential
- Experience working with children (education or care settings)
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (desirable, not essential)
