Job Coach Opportunities – East Wales & West Wales

We’re working with our client to recruit two Job Coaches to support participants across the Jobs Guarantee Programme — one covering East Wales and one covering West Wales. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys motivating others, building relationships, and making a genuine impact within local communities.

The Role

As a Job Coach, you’ll provide personalised, end-to-end support to individuals participating in the Jobs Guarantee Programme - helping them move from referral through to sustained employment. You’ll support participants to overcome barriers, improve employability skills, secure suitable opportunities, and successfully maintain employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting participants throughout all stages of the programme
  • Conducting inductions, vocational profiling, and initial assessments
  • Identifying barriers to employment and developing tailored Employment Action Plans
  • Delivering one-to-one coaching and employability support
  • Supporting with CV writing, interview preparation, confidence building, job searching, workplace behaviours, financial awareness, and travel planning
  • Coordinating interviews and obtaining employer feedback
  • Maintaining regular contact with participants during employment
  • Supporting individuals to overcome workplace challenges and sustain employment
  • Managing participant caseloads and achieving programme targets
  • Recording outcomes and progression opportunities accurately

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting unemployed individuals or disadvantaged groups
  • Experience working within a target-driven environment
  • Coaching, mentoring, employability, or support experience
  • Strong motivational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of barriers to employment
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
