Location: Swansea / Hybrid Duration: Approximately five months Start: Late September / early October Engagement: Fixed-term contract or inside-IR35 contractor arrangement Rate: Competitive and dependent on experience We are supporting an established organisation seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional for a confidential temporary assignment. Joining during a busy period of organisational change, you will provide practical ER advice and independently manage a varied caseload. You will work closely with managers, employees and the wider People team. Key responsibilities: Managing employee-relations cases from initial advice through to resolution Advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters Supporting employee consultation and change-related conversations Providing advice on flexible-working requests and other employment matters Coaching managers through policies, procedures and sensitive discussions Managing standard and complex cases fairly and consistently Maintaining clear records and keeping relevant stakeholders updated Supporting wider organisational-change activity when required About you: Strong, recent employee-relations experience Confident managing a varied ER caseload independently Experience supporting organisational change, consultation or restructuring would be advantageous Good working knowledge of UK employment law Able to provide pragmatic, balanced and commercially aware advice Comfortable joining an organisation quickly and working proactively Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills Available to commit to an assignment of approximately five months No specific CIPD level is essential; relevant practical experience is more important.
