Part-Time Customer Care & Administrative Assistant in Llantrisant, £13.50 per hour, 15 hours per week | Permanent, Monday, Tuesday & Friday | Approx. 9:30am – 2:30pm.

Are you organised, switched on and naturally someone who likes to get to the bottom of things? We're recruiting for a Part-Time Customer Care & Administrative Assistant to join an established and friendly construction business based in Llantrisant. This is a genuinely varied role combining customer care, administration and some marketing support. You'll be joining a small office team where no two days are exactly the same, and full training will be provided on the construction side of the position.

What you'll be doing:

  • A large part of your role will focus on customer care, managing queries relating to completed housing projects.
  • You'll monitor the customer care inbox, review reported defects, gather the right information and determine the appropriate next steps.
  • Arrange customer care appointments and coordinate with site teams.
  • Manage inboxes, documentation and electronic filing.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Support with office stock, deliveries and general administration.
  • Compile meeting minutes and assist with incoming calls and emails.
  • Help gather information and photographs for case studies and company updates.
  • Provide general support to the administration team and Directors.

What we're looking for:

You don't need construction experience. What matters far more is how you work. We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft systems and learning new software.
  • Comfortable working in a largely paperless environment.
  • Inquisitive and confident enough to ask questions.
  • Able to follow established processes and keep accurate records.
  • Proactive, dependable and happy working across a varied workload.

You'll need to be someone who doesn't simply accept information at face value. Some customer queries require a little investigation, so being able to ask the right questions and think logically will be really important.

The role:

This is a permanent, part-time position working approximately 15 hours per week across three days. The proposed pattern is Monday, Tuesday and Friday, around 9:30am–2:30pm, although there may be some flexibility around the exact hours. You'll receive full training and work closely with an experienced member of the team who has previously managed the customer care function.

Benefits:

  • £13.50 per hour.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pro rata.
  • Simplyhealth cash plan.
  • Access to a 24/7 GP service.
  • Counselling support.
  • Cycle scheme.
  • Workplace pension.
  • On-site parking.
  • Supportive, established office team.

If you're looking for a part-time role with school-friendly hours, plenty of variety and the opportunity to become a valued part of a close-knit team, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today.
