Hoop Professional Services is recruiting on behalf of a leading, forward-thinking organisation looking for a proactive Office Manager to support their Edinburgh office. This is a temporary role with potential to go permanent, giving the right candidate the chance to make an impact from day one. Initially, travel to Glasgow will be approximately once a quarter.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main on-site contact for the Edinburgh office.
  • Deliver front-of-house reception services, including meet & greet, calls, and visitor management.
  • Support new starters with equipment setup and office inductions.
  • Manage meeting rooms, events, catering, and IT requests.
  • Coordinate suppliers, contractors, cleaning, and FM providers.
  • Maintain office supplies, stationery, and kitchen equipment.
  • Support Health & Safety compliance, including audits, inspections, and fire procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and spreadsheets.
  • Take ownership of the office presentation and visual standards.
  • Undertake ad hoc administrative and facilities tasks.
Qualifications
  • Experienced in office management, facilities, or workplace support.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Highly organised, able to multitask and problem-solve.
  • Professional, approachable, and service-focused.
  • Comfortable liaising with internal teams, visitors, and suppliers.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Edinburgh, with occasional travel to Glasgow (approx. once a quarter)

Contract: Temporary, with strong potential to go permanent
