This is a varied generalist opportunity offering plenty of autonomy, hybrid working and the chance to support managers across a diverse workforce. When you’re not required on site, you’ll be able to work from home.

- Managing maternity cases and advising managers and employees throughout the process.
- Handling flexible-working requests fairly and consistently, in accordance with policy and employment legislation.
- Managing and supporting disciplinary and grievance investigations from start to finish.
- Advising on wider employee relations, contractual and employment matters.
- Guiding investigating and hearing managers to produce thorough reports, letters and supporting documentation.
- Coaching managers to build their confidence in applying HR policies and procedures.

- Independently managing a busy and varied workload across a multi-site organisation.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor or comparable role.
- Essential experience of managing maternity cases, flexible-working requests, disciplinary investigations, and grievance investigations.
- Current knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- A positive, cheerful and approachable communication style.
- The confidence and initiative to work without constant supervision.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to provide constructive, pragmatic advice.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
