Hoop Housing are looking for an experienced Damp & Mould Surveyor to join a Bristol based housing association and play a key role in improving the condition of their customers’ homes. This is an opportunity for a technically minded surveyor who enjoys solving complex building issues, diagnosing defects, and delivering practical solutions that make a genuine difference.
Working across housing stock, you will take ownership of your own portfolio of damp and mould projects — from initial inspection and diagnosis through to completion. You will carry out detailed surveys of customer homes and communal areas, define scopes of work, provide technical advice, and work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The role:
- Carry out building inspections, diagnostics and technical assessments to identify root causes of damp, mould and condensation issues
- Develop effective remediation solutions and produce clear scopes of work
- Manage projects from survey through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues, contractors and stakeholders
