Hoop Education is thrilled to announce multiple Cover Supervisor vacancies available in Pembrokeshire. We are looking for confident individuals who can manage large groups of school children and remain calm in challenging situations.
As a Cover Supervisor for Hoop Education, your responsibilities will include:
- Distributing pre-set work to students according to the lesson plan.
- Establishing working expectations and allowing for quiet discussions.
- Managing pupil behaviour throughout the lesson.
- Responding positively to any questions.
- Remaining calm and taking charge in emergency situations.
- Noting any issues that arise to report back to the school.
- Collecting all completed work at the end of the lesson.
- Acting as a role model and leading by example.
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 6 months relevant experience (working with children or vulnerable adults) which can be referenced.
- Have a valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one).
- Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Be a passionate practitioner with the desire to improve the education outcomes for all pupils.
- Have excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Be able to support and promote the ethos of the school.
