We’re working with a growing organisation that’s looking to appoint a Marketing Manager to play a key role in its next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on, full-stack marketing role where you’ll take ownership of multi-channel B2B marketing activity, with a clear focus on lead generation and pipeline growth. You’ll sit at the heart of the commercial function, working closely with sales to ensure marketing activity directly supports business objectives.

If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with delivery — planning campaigns one minute and writing copy or analysing performance the next — this could be a great fit.

As Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and delivering a multi-channel B2B marketing strategy that strengthens brand presence, clearly communicates value, and generates a consistent flow of high-quality leads. Your focus will be on positioning the organisation as a trusted partner to businesses looking to address skills gaps, while ensuring marketing activity translates into measurable commercial impact.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead generation & campaigns: Develop and manage integrated B2B lead generation campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn, PPC, email and webinars; Target enterprise and public sector audiences with clear, outcome-focused messaging.
  • Content & messaging: Create high-quality content including case studies, blogs, guides and thought leadership pieces; Translate complex services and programmes into clear, benefits-led messaging for HR, L&D and technology decision-makers.
  • Email & marketing automation: Own the marketing automation platform; Build and manage nurture journeys and email campaigns; Ensure a smooth and effective handover of Marketing Qualified Leads to sales.
  • Sales & marketing alignment: Work closely with the Head of Sales to align activity with revenue targets; Provide sales with high-quality collateral and support account-based marketing initiatives.
  • Website, SEO & digital presence: Manage and optimise the website for lead conversion; Drive SEO strategy to improve visibility for relevant industry terms.
  • Brand & social media: Act as a brand guardian across all channels; Manage professional social media activity, particularly LinkedIn, to build engagement and credibility.
  • Reporting & analytics: Track and report on key metrics including CPL, MQLs, SQLs and conversion rates; Use insight and data to continually refine campaigns and improve ROI.
Essential experience & skills
  • Proven experience in a hands-on B2B marketing role, ideally within a services-based business.
  • Strong lead generation experience with evidence of delivering measurable results.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Confidence using modern marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation, Google Analytics, CMS platforms and paid media.
Highly desirable
  • Knowledge of the UK skills funding landscape.
  • Experience marketing to public sector organisations alongside corporate clients.
Personal attributes
  • Data-driven and commercially minded, with a clear focus on outcomes.
  • Creative and solutions-focused, with the confidence to try new ideas.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with sales, operations and leadership.
Why join?
  • Career development with clear progression and supported professional growth.
  • A high-visibility role with genuine influence on business growth.
