The predicted salary is between 14.5 - 16.5 Β£ per hour.

Location: Cardiff hybrid working (3 days office-based, 2 days from home)

Pay: 14.50 to 16.50 per hour

Contract: Temporary, initially 2-3 months, with the potential to become permanent

Hours: Full-time, standard office hours

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and values-led organisation for a highly organised Compliance Co-ordinator to support its employee onboarding, recruitment and workforce compliance processes. Working closely with the People, Talent Acquisition and operational teams, you will help ensure that all pre-employment checks and employee records are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with safeguarding, regulatory and organisational requirements. Full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing pre-employment checks, including DBS, right-to-work, references and qualification verification
  • Supporting employee onboarding and recruitment administration
  • Monitoring compliance expiry dates and coordinating renewals
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential and audit-ready employee records
  • Updating HR systems, compliance trackers, reports and dashboards
  • Ensuring documentation is stored securely and in accordance with GDPR
  • Supporting audits, inspections and regulatory reviews
  • Escalating compliance concerns and risks appropriately
  • Working with operational leaders and the wider People team to maintain consistent compliance standards
