Looking for a role where your skills genuinely make a difference? Hoop Recruitment are working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Multi-Skilled Handyperson to join their team in Bridgend. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in their work and wants a role where no two days are quite the same.

You'll be visiting customers in their homes across Bridgend and the surrounding area, carrying out essential repairs and minor adaptations that help older people and people living with disabilities stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.

What will you be doing? You'll take on a varied range of practical tasks, including:

  • Installing grab rails and other minor adaptations
  • Carpentry and general household repairs
  • Minor groundworks, including concrete ramps and steps
  • General property maintenance and repairs
  • Helping to make homes safer and more accessible
  • Diagnosing issues and finding practical solutions

Experience with PVC windows and doors or plumbing would be a bonus, but we're particularly interested in people with a broad practical skill set and a can-do attitude.

What we're looking for: You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in property maintenance, repairs or a similar trade environment
  • Experience working in housing, local authority, housing association or a similar setting
  • A good range of practical, multi-trade skills
  • An understanding of working respectfully in people's homes
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A friendly, reliable and professional approach

A vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
