We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated ALN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) across primary schools in Llanelli.
About the Role:
You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, supporting both their academic progress and emotional wellbeing. You may work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs
- Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Help implement individual education plans and support strategies
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
- A caring and patient approach when working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN or SEN
