Location: Llanelli, Wales

Salary: 90-95 per day (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Supply / Temporary

We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated ALN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) across primary schools in Llanelli.

About the Role:

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, supporting both their academic progress and emotional wellbeing. You may work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs
  • Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Help implement individual education plans and support strategies
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

Requirements:

  • A caring and patient approach when working with children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN or SEN
