We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding utilities business based in Cardiff, looking to add a confident and capable Administrator to their team. This is a key role at the heart of the business and is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in getting things right, and enjoys building strong working relationships.

This isn’t just admin- it’s an opportunity to take ownership of vital systems and processes, influence supplier relationships, and play a central role in keeping field and office operations running efficiently. What you’ll be doing:

  • This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where no two days are the same.
  • Working closely with the Office Manager, you’ll handle procurement, coordinate accommodation and materials for field workers, and ensure systems and documentation are kept in excellent order.
  • Raise and track purchase orders.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers, securing competitive quotes.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve delivery issues.
  • Use Sage to process invoices and monitor costs.
  • Coordinate accommodation bookings for field teams.
  • Support ISO 9001 and 45001 systems – training provided.
  • Maintain internal documentation and assist with audits.
  • Keep operations moving by staying one step ahead.
