Qualified Social Worker β Assessment Team β Families First Programme, Somerset Council | Yeovil | 12-Month Contract | Full Time
- Pay rate: PAYE Β£28.41 per hour | Limited/Umbrella Β£38.00 per hour

- Full-time (37 hours per week)
- 12-month agency contract
- Hybrid working β 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
Responsibilities
- Completing Child and Family Assessments
- Undertaking statutory visits and direct work with children and families
- Assessing risk and identifying appropriate interventions
- Working closely with partner agencies to safeguard children
- Producing high-quality assessments, reports and care plans
- Managing a varied caseload while ensuring children remain at the centre of all decision-making
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working in the UK as a registered Social Worker
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent)
- Current registration with Social Work England
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Ability to provide 3 years of referencing
- A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
