Hoop Social Work are delighted to be supporting South Gloucestershire Council in the search for an experienced Social Worker to join their supportive and welcoming Hospital Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established service that values collaborative working and is committed to delivering positive outcomes for adults and their families.
The team is known for being supportive, approachable and focused on ensuring social workers have the tools and backing they need to thrive.
The role is full-time, with the main office base located at Badminton Road, Yate.
Hybrid working is available; however, candidates must be able to travel throughout South Gloucestershire to undertake visits and therefore must hold a full driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Initial 3 month contract with potential to extend. £32 per hour Umbrella company.
What we're looking for
- Experience within a Hospital Social Work setting would be advantageous
- Strong assessment and care planning skills
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and person-centred approach to practice
To apply for this role, you will need to hold
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working in the UK as a registered Social Worker
- A relevant Social Work qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- 3 years of referencing history
- A full driving licence with access to a vehicle
