Hoop Social Work are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and innovative Team Manager to lead a Family Support Team within Children's Services in Wrexham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and families and supporting a high-performing social work team.
Family Support Team (FST) responsibilities:
- Care and Support Plans
- Robust family support to improve outcomes for children
- Management of Child Protection Plans
- Public Law Outline (PLO) processes
- Progression of cases through to first court hearing
Team Managed:
- 15 Social Workers
- 3 Social Care Assessors
- 3 Assistant Team Managers
Key responsibilities:
- Leading and developing a large operational team
- Ensuring high-quality safeguarding practice and decision-making
- Driving performance, innovation, and service improvement
- Supporting staff development and reflective practice
- Ensuring effective management of complex safeguarding and court work
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies
